"Touching the Soul Through the Sole"
Professional Reflexology
right at your feet

Watercolor Rose Illustration_edited_edit

"Touching the soul through the sole" is not just a slogan, it is how I feel reflexology works.

This has been proven with scientific research that shows, through fMRI scans, how applying reflexology specific pressure on the bottom of the feet activates vital areas in the brain.

My approach to my reflexology sessions is soft and intentional. I am not here to "fix" anyone or health concerns mentioned especially by means of using invasive manipulation. The body was created to be self healing so sometimes its about clearing things out of the way so it can heal itself. Using reflexology I simply provide the space your nervous system needs to move out of survival mode so it can rest and repair. Reflexology is non-invasive work so combined with the soft approach of trauma healing work, amazing things can happen, naturally. Think of the feet as a gateway to reaching the deepest levels of healing.

What to Expect in a Session

You will be seated in a zero gravity chair with your feet supported by bolsters and pillows. I start by looking over your feet to check for possible signs of stress in the feet to work with or around if necessary. Then I begin with gentle holds and relaxation moves to slowly introduce my hands to your feet. Using thumb and finger walking I move through the reflex areas with medium pressure. Tenderness and sensitivity may be experienced. I can adjust pressure as needed to accommodate your comfort level. The session is ended with stress reducing techniques to leave you feeling light and deeply relaxed.

Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) feels different from regular reflexology in that it focuses specifically on the reflex areas for the lymphatic system in the feet. The same manual technique of thumb and finger walking is used but with a very light pressure. Light pressure is all that is needed to improve lymph flow and help reduce build up or swelling.
